I obtained Doctorate degree of Animal Breeding and Genetics, MSc of Animal Breeding and Genetics with cum laude at University of Limpopo and BSc of Animal Production with cum laude at University of Fort Hare. I received a professional training in Applied Statistics and Bioinformatics. I am specializing with Breeding and Genetics minor with Statistics and Bioinformatics. I am comfortable in LINUX, BLUPF90, REMLF90, R, SAS, SPSS, MINITAB, NCSS and AGRIBASE. Research interest: Use of data mining algorithms in animal breeding; Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and their association with traits; Breeding for disease resistance; Gene and protein expressions; Bioinformatics analysis; Crossbreeding effects; Development of breeding programs for communal farmers.
