Plagiomnium undulatum (Bryophyta) Ekstraktlarının Sinapis arvensis’in Fide Gelişimi Üzerine Etkileri

Abstract



Bu çalışmada, bir briyofit türü olan Plagiomnium undulatum (Hedw.)
T.J.Kop.
’un yaygın
yabancı otlardan
Sinapis arvensis L.
(yabani hardal)’in fide gelişimi üzerine allelopatik etkileri araştırılmıştır.
P. undulatum’dan ekstrakt elde etmek
için üç farklı çözücü (distile su, etil alkol ve etil asetat) kullanılmış, bu
ekstraktların değişik konsantrasyonlarının (0, 25 ve 50 mg.mL
-1) S. arvensis’in fide gelişiminde bazı fizyolojik
ve biyokimyasal parametreler üzerine etkileri belirlenmiş ve kontrol gruplarına
göre değerlendirilmiştir. Fotosentetik pigment içeriği, toplam protein miktarı,
prolin konsantrasyonu ve antioksidan enzim aktivitelerine ait sonuçlar
P. undulatum ekstraktının yabani
hardalın fide gelişimi üzerine allelopatik etkilerinin olduğunu göstermiştir.

Effects of Plagiomnium undulatum (Bryophyta) Extracts on Seedling Growth of Sinapis arvensis

Abstract



In this study, allelopathic effects
of
Plagiomnium
undulatum
(Hedw.) T.J.Kop., a bryophyte
species, on
Sinapis
arvensis
L. (wild mustard) seedlings from common
weeds were investigated.
Three different
solvents (distilled water, ethyl alcohol and ethyl acetate) were used to obtain
extracts from
P. undulatum, the
effect of different concentrations
(0, 25 and 50 mg.mL-1) of
these extracs on some
physiological
and biochemical parameters in seedling growth of
S. arvensis were determined and evaluated
according to control groups. Photosynthetic pigment contents, total protein
amount, proline concentration and antioxidant enzyme activity results showed
that
P. undulatum extract has allelopathic effects
on wild mustard seedling growth.
