Türkiye’de Yayılış Gösteren Aethionema armenum (Brassicaceae) Kompleksinde Karşılaştırmalı Tohum Mikromorfolojisi

Abstract

Aethionema cinsi Dünyada 60-70 tür ile temsil edilmektedir ve bunların çoğu İran-Turan bitkicoğrafyası bölgesinde yayılış göstermektedir. Türkiye'de ise 57 takson ile temsil edilen cins için ülkemiz sadece ana gen merkezi değil, aynı zamanda İran ile birlikte ana çeşitlenme merkezi konumundadır. Aethionema, Türkiye'de taksonomik olarak karmaşık cinslerden birisidir. Cinsin taksonomisi, son zamanlarda cins için birçok yeni taksonun tanımlanmasıyla daha da karmaşık hale gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'de yayılış gösteren Aethionema cinsinin oldukça varyasyon gösteren A. armenum kompleksinde tohum mikromorfolojik yapısı ışık mikroskobu (LM) ve taramalı elektron mikroskobu (SEM) ile incelenerek tohum karakterlerinin önemi taksonomik açıdan değerlendirilmiştir. A. armenum türünün 20 farklı lokaliteden toplanan örneklerine ait tohumları incelenmiş ve tohumların şekillerinin ovat ve genişçe ovat, açık kahverengi, kahverengi veya kahverengi-gri renkte olduğu belirlenmiştir. Tohum uzunluğu 1.18-1.70 mm arasında ve tohum genişliği ise 1.0-1.45 mm arasında değiştiği tespit edilmiştir. Tohum yüzeylerinde ornamentasyon ağsı-kabartılı olarak gözlemlenmiştir. A. armenum tür kompleksi içerisinde yer alan taksonların morfolojik olarak gösterdiği farklılıkların tohum mikmorfolojisi ile desteklendiği belirlenmiştir.
