KISA SÜRELİ TEKE SPERMASINININ SAKLANMASINDA

Abstract




GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ankara tekesi spermasının kısa süreli saklanmasında sperma sulandırıcılarına katılan farklı miktarlardaki farklı şekerlerin (glukoz ve fruktoz) ve yumurta sarısının teke sperması kalitesi üzerine etkinliğinin belirlenmesidir.



YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: : 4 Ankara tekesinden suni vajen yardımıyla alınan ejakulatlar 8 eşit kısma ayrılarak farklı dozlarda glukoz ve fruktoz içeren ve yumurta sarısı içermeyen yağsız süt tozu sulandırıcısı ile sulandırıldı. Sulandırılan sperma örnekleri 0.25 ml’lik payetlere çekilerek +4°C’de 0, 24, 48, 72 ve 96 saatlerde spermatozoa motilitesi yönünden muayene edildi.



BULGULAR: Yumurta sarısı içermeyen grubun kısa süreli saklama sonucu motilite değerlerindeki düşüşün özellikle ilk 24 saat içerisinde hızla gerçekleştiği gözlendi. Farklı dozda glukoz veya fruktozun sulandırıcıya eklenmesi ise spermatozoa motilitesi bakımından 0-96. saatler arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli bir farklılık oluşturmadı..



TARTIŞMA ve SONUÇ: Sonuç olarak teke spermasının kısa sureli saklanması için süt bazlı sulandırıcılara şeker olarak eklenen glukoz veya fruktozun kullanımı arasında bir fark yoktur.

INFLUENCE OF SPERM QUALITY OF DIFFERENT SUGARS DURING SHORT-TERM STORAGE OF GOAT SEMEN

Abstract




INTRODUCTION: The purpose of the present study is to determine the effect of different sugars (glucose and fructose) and egg yolks effect on the quality of the Ankara goat semen.



METHODS: Ejaculates collected from artificial vagina from 4 Ankara goats were divided into 8 equal parts. Sperma samples containing glucose and fructose at different doses and containing no egg yolk were diluted with skimmed milk.Semen samples were withdrawn with 0.25 ml straws and spermatozoa motility was examined at 0, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours at + 4 ° C.



RESULTS: The decrease in the short term storage motility values of the group without egg yolks observed especially during the first 24 hours. The addition of different doses of glucose and fructose to the diluent, spermatozoa motility did not make a statistically significant difference between the 0-96 hours.



DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: As a result, there is no difference between the use of glucose or fructose added as a milk-based diluent sugar for short-term storage of goat semen.
