In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of pollination periods on hermaphroditic and staminate flowers found in different plant-structured melons. Two monoic and two andromonoic melon genotypes were cross-pollinated at 07:00 and 10:00. Investigated quality and quantity of pollen with pollen tube growth and, the quality of seeds. As a result, it has been determined that pollen characteristics varied according to plant structures, the pollination at 10:00 found effective, in andromonoic plants. It was determined that in andromonoic×andromonoic combination, the abortive seeds decreased in pollination at 10:00, while the number of normally developed seeds increased.
