Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı
“Kariyer Kararlılığı Ölçeği”ni (Lounsbury vd., 1999) Türkçeye uyarlamak ve
geçerlik, güvenirlik analizlerini yapmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Süleyman
Demirel Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi öğrencileri
oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda 779 öğrenci çalışmaya katılmıştır. Yapılan açımlayıcı
faktör analizi sonucunda, toplam varyansın %51.8’ini açıklayan, 6 madde ve tek
boyuttan oluşan bir ölçme aracı elde edilmiştir. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi
sonucu ise modelin iyi seviyede uyum verdiğini göstermiştir. Ölçeğin iç
tutarlık güvenirlik katsayısı .80 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Test-tekrar test
analizi sonucunda uygulamalar arası .73 seviyesinde ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
Tüm bulguların ışığında, “Kariyer Kararlılığı Ölçeği”nin, Türk kültürüne uygun,
geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract

The aim of this study
is to adapt the Career Decidedness Scale (Lounsbury et al., 1999) to Turkish
and to make validity and reliability analyses. The sample of the study is
composed of the students of Suleyman Demirel University Faculty of Economics
and Administrative Sciences. In this context, 779 students participated in the study.
As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, a measurement tool consisting
of 6 items and one dimension was obtained which explained 51.8% of the total
variance. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model was in good fit.
The internal consistency reliability coefficient of the scale was calculated as
.80. As a result of the test-retest analysis, a relationship was found between
the implementations at the level of .73. Within the scope of these findings, it
is concluded that Career Decidedness Scale is a valid and reliable measurement
tool suitable for Turkish culture.
