Abstract
This study investigates the standing of 34 member or candidate countries for the European Union by using a set of economic indicators available from World Development Indicators (WDl) in years 2000, 2005 and 2007. Data used in this research is obtained from data.worldbank.org. Accordingly, multivariate statistical analysis are hold with measured variables for all countries in the mentioned years.

Abstract
Bu çalışmada Avrupa Birliği'ne üye ve üyeliğe aday 34 ülkenin Dünya Gelişmişlik Göstergeleri (WDI) kapsamında bulunan bazı ekonomik değişkenleri kullanarak ülkelerin bu değişkenler yönünden 2000, 2005, 2007 yıllarındaki durumları incelenmiştir. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler data.worldbank.org internet adresinden elde edilmiştir. Buna göre söz konusu yıllarda tüm ülkeler için ölçülmüş olan değişkenlerle çok değişkenli istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır.
