The Evaluatıon of the Migrant Sending Area Factors in the Migrant Marriages Through Correspondence Analysis: Marriage Profile for İstanbul
Abstract
Internal migration in Turkey, which due to births and deaths changes population and population dynamics can be considered as one of the most efficient dynamics to change the metropolitan cities like İstanbul. The internal migration changes the population structure of the sending areas in one hand, socio-culturel and urban structure in the receiving areas in the other. The people migrating from rural areas into urban ones are confronted with issues such as urbanisarion and social integration. The migrants accustomed to traditional relations have been meeting some difficulties when transitting to urban relations. As a consequence they have been trying to find their similar socio-cultural groups where they feel as a member of the same sort. These circumstances especially arise in the marriage phase which might be regarded as the most serious decision. Even the migrants who have succeeded in assimilation turn to their own socio-culturel groups and look for the right person with his or her own similarities among their groups when deciding for marriage. From this point of view a research upon the marriages of the migrants seems to be the most obvious way in determining the social integration.
In this paper the people in Istanbul who migrated from seven geographical regions and got married in Istanbul are subject to research which will enable us to draw a marriage map of Istanbul.

Karşılık Getirme Analizi ile Göç Edenlerin Evliliklerinde Göç Veren Bölge Faktörünün Değerlendirilmesi: İstanbul'daki Evlilik Profili
Abstract
Türkiye'de iç göç, 1950'li yıllardan bu güne kadar hızlanarak devam etmiş, özellikle İstanbul gibi büyük şehirlerde, doğum ve ölüm gibi nüfusun sayısını ve yapısını değiştiren en etkin dinamiklerden biri olmuştur. İç gög, göç veren bölgenin nüfus yapısını değiştirdiği gibi, göç alan bölgede de nüfusun sosyal-kültürel ve kentsel yapısını değiştirmektedir. Kırsal bölgelerden büyük şehirlere göç eden insanlar kentlileşme, toplumsal bütünleşme gibi sorunlarla yüzleşmektedirler. Geleneksel ilişkilere alışık olan göçerler kentsel ilişkilere geçerken zorlanmakta, kendilerini ait hissedecekleri kendileri gibi olan sosyal-kültürel gruplar bulmaya çalışmaktadırlar. Bu durum özellikle, bir insanın hayatında belki de en önemli karar olan evleneceği kişiyi seçme aşamasında kendini göstermektedir. Yaşam tarzı bakımından şekil olarak kentsel yaşama ayak uydurmuş olan göçerler bile eş seçerken kendi sosyal-kültürel gruplarına dönmekte, bu grupta kendileri gibi olan bir kişi aramaktadırlar. Bu yönüyle göçerler arasındaki evlenmeleri araştırmak toplumsal(kentsel) bütünleşmeyi araştırmanın belirleyici yolu olmaktadır.
Bu tebliğde, Türkiye'nin yedi coğrafi bölgesinden göç ederek İstanbul'a gelen ve burada evlenen kişilerin eş seçimlerinde geldikleri bölgeler değerlendirilmekte ve böylece İstanbul'un evlilik profili çıkarılmaktadır.
