Tek yıllık ve çok yıllık adaçayı (Salvia viridis L., Salvia cryptantha Montbret et Aucher) tohumlarının bazı fiziksel özelliklerinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

 Bu çalışmada, Salvia
viridis
L. (tek yıllık) ve Salvia cryptantha (çok yıllık) adaçayı çeşitlerine ait
tohumların bazı fiziksel (geometrik, hacimsel, sürtünme katsayısı) özellikleri
belirlenmiştir. Salvia viridis ve Salvia cryptantha tohumlarında geometrik
ortalama çap, küresellik, yüzey alanı, yığılma (angle of repose) açısı, yığın
hacim ağırlığı, porozite değerleri, sırasıyla; 1.69 mm and 2.96 mm;
% 62.90 ve % 84.06; 9.00 ve 27.53 mm2; 14.09° ve 14.33°;
587.25 ve 718.08 kg m-3; % 10.27 ve % 33.22 olarak
belirlenmiştir. Salvia viridis
adaçayı çeşidine ait tohumların laminant, kontrplak, lastik ve galvaniz sac
sürtünme yüzeylerindeki sürtünme katsayısı değerleri sırasıyla; 0.60, 0.89,
0.74 ve 0.71 olarak bulunurken; Salvia
cryptantha
adaçayında ise ilgili değerler 0.48, 0.96, 0.64 ve 0.60 olarak
belirlenmiştir.

Determination of some physical properties of the annual and perennial sage (Salvia viridis L., Salvia cryptantha Montbret et Aucher) varieties seeds

Abstract

In this study, some physical (geometrical, volumetrical and static friction coefficient) properties of Salvia viridis L. (annual) and Salvia cryptantha (perennial) seeds of Sage varieties were analyzed. The values of geometric means diameter, sphericity, surface area, angle of repose, bulk density, porosity in Salvia viridis and Salvia cryptantha seeds were found as 1.69 mm and 2.96 mm; 62.90 % and 84.06 %; 9.00 and 27.53 mm2; 14.09° and 14.33°; 587.25 and 718.08 kg m-3; 10.27 % and 33.22 %, respectively. The values of static friction coefficient in laminate, plywood, rubber and galvanized metal of Salvia viridis were determined as 0.60, 0.89, 0.74, 0.71, whereas, static friction coefficients for laminate, plywood, rubber and galvanized metal of Salvia cryptantha variety were found as 0.48, 0.96, 0.64 and 0.60, respectively.
