lipids, triacylglycerol (TAG), phospholipid (PL) and phospholipid subclasses of leafhopper Aphis punicae Passerini and Macrosiphum rosae (Linnaeus), were examined by the gas chromatography. The major fatty acids were myristic acid (C14:0) (48.98-82.10%), hexanoic acid (capric acid, C6:0) (1.29-12.07%) and sorbic acid with antifungal effect (C6:2n-2) (%) 0.07-2.84) in total and TAG; oleic acid (C18:1n-9) (22.30-25.22%) and linoleic acid (C18:2n-6) (39.57-40.07%), linolenic acid (C18:3n-3) ( % 5.83-9.48) in PL fraction. While the saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids were predominant in phosphatidylinositol (PI) and phosphatidylserine (PS) from PL subclass fractions, polyunsaturated fatty acids were dominant in phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) and phosphatidylcholine (PC). In this study, the total
