Abstract

Bu
araştırmada 2015 yılında Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) tarafından toplam
11491 hane halkından derlenen hane halkı bütçe anketi verileri kullanılmıştır.
Araştırmada, Heckman Örneklem Seçim Sistemi (HÖSS) kullanılarak, hanelerin ve
hane reisinin sosyo-demografik ve ekonomik faktörlerinin süt ve süt ürünleri
ile yenilebilir yağların hem tüketim harcama olasılıklarındaki hem de tüketim
harcama tutarındaki etkileri analiz edilmiştir. Yenilebilir yağ harcamalarının
süt ve süt ürünleri harcamalarıyla birlikte bir sistem için tahmin edilmesi
gerektiği yapılan istatistiki test sonuçlarıyla ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca
sistemdeki tüm korelasyon katsayılarının pozitif ve istatistiki açıdan önemli
çıkması, sistemde kontrol dışı faktörlerin her iki ürün grubu harcamaları
arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişkinin varlığını zorunlu kılmıştır. Diğer
taraftan hanelerin ve hane reisinin sosyo-demografik ve ekonomik faktörlerinin
çoğunluğunun hem yenilebilir yağ harcama olasılığı ve harcama tutarı hem de süt
ve süt ürünleri harcamaları üzerinde kayda değer etkileri söz konusu olmuştur.
Bu etkiler uygun olarak pazarlama stratejileri ve politika önerileri
sunulmuştur.

Abstract

The household budget survey conducted in 2015 by
Turkish Statistical Institute (TSI) with a total of 11491 households were used
in this study. The effects of the socio-demographic and economic factors of
household heads and households both on the probability of edible oils and
spending levels of edible oils and milk-dairy products were analyzed by using
the Heckman Sampling Selection System (HSSS). The results of the statistical
analysis show that the edible oil likelihood should be estimated together with
the expenditures of edible oils and milk-dairy products in a system. In
addition, the positive and statistical significance of all the correlation
coefficients in the system necessitated the positive relationship between non-controllable
factors and the two product group expenditures in the system. On the other
hand, the majority of the socio-demographic and economic factors of households
and household heads have had significant impacts on both the amount of spending
levels of edible oil and milk-dairy products with likelihood level of edible
oils. We have presented possible marketing strategies and policy
recommendations in accordance with these impacts.
