Local resources are very important to improve genetic base of shrinking resources used as parents to develope high quality, disease resistant, stress tolerant varieties in breeding program. Therefore, this study was conducted as a randomized missing blocks in 2013-2014 growing seasons in rainfall conditions in Diyarbakir. Overall, 40 bread wheat population were collected from different provinces (Diyarbakir, Adiyaman and Elazig) for the study. In the study; differences and important relationship were determined between grain yield, some morphological physiologically and quality characteristics and populations.. In conclusion; the pue line collected from population of Elazig demonstrated high performance in terms of all the traits, pure lines collected from Diyarbakir in terms of leaf area index (LAI) and pure lines collected from Adiyaman in terms of coolness of vegetation (CV) and normalized index of vegetation (NDVI) and flag leaf chlorophyll ratio (SPAD) with wet gluten (WG) and protein ratio (PR). In addition, clustering analysis showed wide variations, and a number of populations were identified as parental for the genotypes that could be used in breeding programs.
