Kırsal Kalkınma Destekleri Kapsamındaki Genç Çiftçi Hayvancılık Projelerinin Verimliliğinin Araştırılması

This study was conducted to evaluate the application of the Young Farmer Project implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Hatay scale. In the study, it was aimed to identify the problems experienced during the realization of the project in question and to find useful information for similar projects to be conducted more efficiently. A questionnaire was used to question the opinions of the breeders about the project. The data were evaluated by frequency analysis in SPSS package program. At the end of the project, it was detected that the animals were not distributed to the breeders in accordance with the desired yield aspect. Overall, the level of education of the breeders was low, the breeders with insufficient financial status were unsuccessful in the care of the animals because they were chosen as project beneficiaries, therefore the desired yields could not be provided. It has been determined that there are reproductive problems especially in bovine animals and this may be due to mandatory artificial insemination application. Despite these problems, the project beneficiaries stated that they are generally pleased with the animal husbandry and want to continue the work.
