Elazığ İli Elma (Pyrus malus L.) ve Ceviz (Juglans regia L.) Bahçelerinde Tylenchida (Nematoda) Takımına ait Bitki Paraziti Nematod Türlerinin Belirlenmesi

Öz

Bitki paraziti nematodlar (BPN), kültür bitkilerinde zarar yapan en önemli gruplardan bir tanesi olup verimde çok ciddi düşüşlere neden olmaktadırlar. Tylenchida (Nematoda) takımı, bitkilerin ekonomik açıdan önemli zararlı türlerinin büyük bir kısmını içermesi nedeniyle en önemli BPN grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma, Elazığ ilindeki elma (Pyrus malus L.) ve ceviz (Juglans regia L.) bahçelerinde 2016 ve 2017 yıllarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu amaçla ağustos-eylül aylarında elma ve ceviz bahçelerinden toprağın 15-30 cm derinliğinden toplam 47 toprak ve kök örneği toplanmıştır. Laboratuvar çalışmalarında, örneklerden aktif nematodlar elde etmek için geliştirilmiş Baermann huni yöntemi kullanılmış ve elde edilen BPN'ler 60°C'de öldürüldükten sonra TAF çözeltisinde fikse edilerek lam üzerinde sabitleştirilmiştir. Tylenchida takımına ait BPN'ler ışık mikroskobu altında morfometrik ve morfolojik olarak tanımlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda; elma ve ceviz yetiştiriciliği yapılan alanlarda Tylenchida takımında yer alan üç familya, dört altfamilya ve dört cins içerisinde yer alan 7 BPN türü belirlenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında Filenchus filiformis (Bütschli, 1873) Meyl. 1961, Helicotylenchus digonicus Perry in Perry, Darling and Thorne, 1959, Helicotylenchus striatus Firoza and Maqbool, 1994, Helicotylenchus tunisiensis Siddiqi, 1964, Helicotylenchus vulgaris Yuen 1964, Pratylenchoides leiocauda Sher, 1970 ve Psilenchus hilarulus De Man, 1921 türleri teşhis edilmiş olup en sık rastlanan BPN türü H. digonicus olarak belirlenmiştir. Tespit edilen tüm türler Elazığ ilinde elma ve ceviz bahçeleri nematod faunası açısından yeni kayıt niteliğindedir.

Determination of Plant Parasitic Nematode Species of Tylenchida (Nematoda) Order in Apple (Pyrus malus L.) and Walnut (Juglans regia L.) Orchards in Elazığ Province

Abstract

Plant parasitic nematodes (PPN) are one of the main causes of crop damage in agricultural production areas and cause serious decreases in yield. The order Tylenchida (Nematoda) constitutes the most important PPN group because it contains a large number of economically important pest species of plants. This study was conducted in apple (Pyrus malus L.) and walnut (Juglans regia L.) orchards in Elazığ province in 2016 and 2017. For this purpose, a total of 47 soil and root samples were gathered from a 15-30 cm depth of the soil from apple and walnut orchards in August-September. In laboratory studies, the modified Baermann funnel method was used to obtain active nematodes from samples, and the obtained PPNs were killed at 60°C and then fixed in TAF solution and fixed on the slide. PPNs belonging to the order Tylenchida were identified morphometrically and morphologically. As a result of the study, 7 BPN species in three families, four subfamilies and four genera of the Tylenchida order were identified in apple and walnut growing areas. In the study, Filenchus filiformis (Bütschli, 1873) Meyl, 1961, Helicotylenchus digonicus Perry in Perry, Darling and Thorne, 1959, Helicotylenchus striatus Firoza and Maqbool, 1994, Helicotylenchus tunisiensis Siddiqi, 1964, Helicotylenchus vulgaris Yuen 1964, Pratylenchoides leiocauda Sher, 1970, Psilenchus hilarulus De Man, 1921 species were identified and the most common BPN species was determined as H. digonicus. All identified species are new records in terms of nematode fauna of apple and walnut orchards in Elazığ province.
