OPEN ACCESS POLICY

1. Open Access Principle

KSU Journal of Agriculture and Nature adopts an open access publishing policy that supports broad access to scholarly information and aims to make published research freely accessible to the scientific community.

All articles published by the journal are made freely accessible online from the date of publication.

The journal's open access policy aims to facilitate access to scholarly knowledge by researchers, academics, students, practitioners, and other interested stakeholders without requiring a subscription or access fee.

2. Free Online Access

Published scientific content is made available:

• without subscription requirements,
• without access charges to readers, and
• online through the journal's electronic platform.

Full-text versions of published articles can be accessed through the journal's electronic platform.

3. Authors' Rights

Under the open access model, authors' rights in their articles are governed together with the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

The applicable author rights are specified in the relevant publication agreement and/or licensing terms accepted during the publication process.

The journal supports appropriate recognition of authors' scholarly contributions and proper citation of published work.

4. Copyright and Licensing

Copyright and permitted uses of published articles are governed by the journal's current Copyright and Licensing Policy.

The applicable license information for each article is clearly indicated on the article's electronic page and/or within the article file.

Readers, third-party users, and other researchers must comply with the applicable license conditions and appropriate scholarly citation requirements when using published material.

5. Use and Reuse of Articles

Articles published under the open access model may, subject to the applicable licensing conditions, be:

• read,
• downloaded,
• stored,
• shared with appropriate citation, and
• used for research and educational purposes.

Any reuse of published material must comply with the applicable license conditions, copyright requirements, and appropriate scholarly citation practices.

6. KSU Journal of Agriculture and Nature does not charge authors any fees at any stage of the publication process.

The journal does not charge:

• submission fees,
• manuscript evaluation fees,
• Article Processing Charges (APCs),
• publication fees,
• page charges,
• color figure charges,

or any other fees associated with the submission, evaluation, processing, or publication of manuscripts.

All articles published under the journal's open access policy are made freely available to readers, and no publication-related costs are charged to authors

7. Peer Review and Open Access

Open access does not alter the journal's peer-review standards.

All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial assessment in accordance with the journal's scientific evaluation and peer-review policies. Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation are submitted to independent peer reviewers.

The open access policy and the scientific evaluation process are administered independently.

8. Archiving and Long-Term Accessibility

The journal supports the long-term accessibility and preservation of its published scholarly content.

Appropriate digital archiving and preservation practices are used to support the long-term availability of published articles and the integrity of the scholarly record.

9. DOI and Bibliographic Metadata

The journal places particular importance on maintaining accurate and up-to-date DOI and bibliographic metadata in order to support the persistent identification and accessibility of published articles.

Article titles, author information, affiliations, publication dates, DOI information, and other bibliographic metadata are checked as part of the publication process.

10. Open Access and Scholarly Responsibility

Open access facilitates broader dissemination of scholarly information but does not remove the principles of research integrity and responsible scholarly use.

Users of articles published by the journal are expected to comply with:

• proper citation practices,
• research integrity,
• copyright requirements, and
• applicable licensing conditions.

11. Policy Updates

The Open Access Policy may be reviewed and updated when necessary in response to developments in international scholarly publishing practices, open science, and relevant legal or technical frameworks.

Any changes to the policy will be announced on the journal's website.
